Due to our having 11 teams default their tonight’s opening game of 2023 Summer Super Six Series (because members of their teams have been seconded to work over in Hawkes Bay & Gisborne) we have decided that we shall postpone the official opening night and instead run a fundraiser to help out people in the Bay, who have been affected by Cyclone Gabrielle.
And with the assistance & generosity of the CET Arena, who have kindly made the Arena 4 available Free of charge tonight, why not come along to the B & M Centre between 6-00pm and 9-00pm, so you help us with a fantastic fundraiser.
Our friends and colleague at Netball Manawatu, Badminton Manawatu and Volleyball Manawatu are joining us to help promote this fundraiser.
So come along and have a go at either Basketball, Netball, Volleyball or Badminton or simply come down and join us.
All you have to do is to simply donate either $5-00 for an hours play, &/or bring along some cans of food/slabs of water &/or some of your old sports shoes and other gear.
