Jason Pearn is aged 49 years old and he is currently employed as a Catering Manager/Chef for Alliance Catering @ Toyota National Customer Centre Palmerston North and Foodstuffs Distribution Centre Palmerston North.
His professional training has him well equipped in management, customer focus and leadership.
Jason has always been a basketball fanatic, his love for the game has manifested itself in many ways; As a younger man he played competitive basketball, now competes at the masters and socially.
As a coach Jason worked with age group teams, high school teams and club teams and as an assistant coach with the Manawatu Jets from 2019 to 2021.
As an administrator and organizer he has been the manager of the Manawatu Jets from 2019 to 2021.
Jason says that he “has seen many changes in the Basketball landscape in New Zealand since moving from Australia in 2007 where I had been involved both professionally and socially for 26 years”.
Jason said he will endeavour to provide more opportunities for all our members, players, coaches and officials whilst assisting in the running of the organization where required.
