After many decades of success, Basketball Manawatū is looking to grow our sport but we have now reached a saturation point where we cannot grow as we have no “room nor time left”.
Basketball as a sport is the fastest growing sport in New Zealand and will shortly be the number one participatory sport in the country, surpassing Netball, Rugby, and Football.
We are therefore looking to offer our Year 0-4 students the chance to play on a smaller sized court that we believe will bring about greater success and therefore enjoyment.
Watch this space we look to develop this programme, seek out sponsorship to reduce costs for families.
